My gallery

California’s Sierra Nevada is one of my most beloved hiking destinations. Since hiking thru on the PCT back in 2015, I’ve returned for several magnificent hiking seasons, focusing on backpacking trips out of the Eastern Sierra.

Over the years my husband and I have begun exploring more and more of the Sierras. We’ve started creating our own little routes, both off and on trail to access some of the wildest parts of the wilderness.

These are some of the paintings and sketches I’ve created (so far!) that were inspired by hikes in the ‘range of light’.

Although I’ve visited a fair bit over the last few years, I recently moved “full-time” to central Oregon and I’m enjoying exploring more of my new home state. Expect to see more Oregon artwork coming very soon!

Follow Above Treeline Art on social media to see new artwork, like this watercolour painting of a northern flicker.

I’m always creating new paintings based on my hikes and travels. And I have some cute greetings card designs coming soon. So please check back from time to time to see what’s new. And follow me on social media to see what I’m working on (and where I’ve been hiking!)

paintings made for you

Looking for a print of a specific place? Maybe that picture perfect place you go to in your head when it all gets too much? Or maybe you’re looking for a gift to commemorate a loved one finishing a long trail?

If you’d love a unique painting of your very own, good news: I do commissions!

As well as the artwork shown in my gallery, I do commissions, like the one shown here of two hikers married on the summit of Eagle Cap in the Wallowa mountains in Oregon
